problem:
tilling to bury weeds causes more erosion, no-till is easier but uses more herbiside
solution: manually pick weeds, GMO but that needs patents and stuff, cover entire field in herbicide, intermediate crop but that uses water so no. just no -till normally but no one likes that since corps suck
idea 1:
community: farmers
what they need: money (cheaper wages and less environment impact)
effects: erosion, herbicide mostly lands on dirt and friendly plants, also if easier no-till = less erosion
importance: food is important duh
actually idea:
15$ sterioscopic camera -> 2 images like 3 inches apart -> opencv or blockmatching to build depth map -> depthmap and image combined -> thresholding -> cut image into individual plants -> ai ->know if plant is a good one or a weed -> decide if to spray with precision herbiside so use less and more environmentally friendly
research:
computer vision scientist
farmers
idea 2:
main problem: the drone costs a lot of money
community: mappers and farmers
what the need: money (more efficient growing)
effects: calibrate moisture n stuff idk
importance: ???
actuall idea:
10000$ drone -> measure stuff about farms -> ??? -> profit
